Buenos Aires, March 31 (NA) — Relatives, friends, and neighbors of Ian Cabrera, the 13-year-old boy who was murdered inside the Mariano Moreno Normal School No. 40 in the Santa Fe city of San Cristóbal by a classmate, are giving their final farewell in an emotional and desolating wake, before proceeding to the cemetery transfer.

From early Tuesday, the San Cristóbal Mutual Association has been the setting where the entire community is bidding farewell to the minor who was a victim of a shooting inside his school, an institution to which he had only entered a few days prior as a first-year high school student.

According to information provided to the Argentine News Agency, it is expected that at 10:30 a.m., the teenager will be transferred to the municipal cemetery, located on Piedras Street, between La Paz and Oroño.

Since Monday afternoon, just hours after the unprecedented attack, neighbors have been gathering at the school gate where they have posted signs demanding justice for Ian, as well as placing candles around the institution, to continue the protest and to raise the boy's voice.
